elluminét is a San Diego based lighting design studio with certified lighting designers and award winning projects.  Developing a positive and constructive relationship with our clients is a major part of the elluminét culture.  Our designers focus on client collaboration and communication to ensure that our client’s expectations are met.  Our lighting designers also work closely with our MEP studio engineers, Elen Consulting, providing ongoing building systems integration. We work hand in hand from design through installation to ensure that all expectations are exceeded.

THE TEAM

elluminét is compiled of 4 talented and eclectic lighting and electrical designers with over 60 years of combined experience. Our open studio environment and broad range of expertise allows us to come together daily to collaboratively produce award winning designs.
SCHEMATIC DESIGN

We begin by exploring and understanding the design vision of our client to produce a Schematic design package.

CODE COMPLIANCE

We produce both lighting level photometrics and energy compliance calculations in order to verify that our design meets code requirements.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

During this phase we work hand in hand with our clients to develop their design from an idea to lighting design solution.

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS

In this phase we provide our finalized documents and specifications that deliver the overall design intent of the project.

FIXTURE SELECTION

During this design phase we review fixture cutsheets, photometric renderings, and controls options to develop the design intent.

CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION

We view this as the most important step and we stick with the project all the way through installation ensuring design intent implementation.
